ECO-PIST, AN INNOVATIVE PLANT-BASED BINDING AGENT

ECO-PIST Is an innovative plant-based binding agent specially formulated to improve the ground cohesion of unpaved surfaces.

This water binder avoids the formation of dust under heavy machinery and limits the erosion of the surface treated by traffic.

Whilst not making the floor waterproof, ECO-PIST protects the traffic lanes over the short and medium term. In the rain, the circulation of machinery is easier, tis capacity is maintained.

As soon as the wear of this layer causes the kicking up of dust , the treatment can be re-done.

  • Appearance: Viscous brown liquid
  • pH: 6.6 ± 0.5 (à 20 °C)
  • Viscosity: 30 to 80 mPa.s (20 °C – mobile L1 – 30 rpm)
  • Dry extract : 38,0 ± 2.0 %
  • Density (at 20 °C): 1.17 ± 0.02 t.m³

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE TO BE TREATED

  • Support sufficiently strong with knowledge beforehand of its porosity
  • Compact homogenous surface, avoiding elements > 20 mm
  • gradient sufficient to guarantee good drainage
  • Reprofiling if these conditions are not required
  • Before treatment, light dousing of the surface for better adhesion between the fine particles and the binding agent
